Pandora E. Christie, M.D.
Pandora Christie received her medical degree at the University of London, UK in 1983. Specializing in Pulmonary and Internal Medicine she joined the Allergy department at St. Thomas and Guy’s Hospital, London to pursue an interest in asthma care. She was selected to study in the alpine resort of Davos, Switzerland where she coordinated a number of clinical studies which defined mechanisms of lung inflammation in asthma.
In 1994 Pandora Christie moved to the United States and joined the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of Washington, Seattle. She entered the Allergy fellowship program in 1999 and graduated in June 2002. In 2002 , Dr Christie took over the practices of Dr. Rick Lane Johnson, M.D., and Dr Harvey Meulbroek, M.D. who retired after many years of providing an allergy service in Seattle. In 2005, to meet the demands of patients in Issaquah, Dr. Christie opened a clinic in Issaquah and in 2012 she expanded her allergy service to include patients in Redmond.
Dr. Christie is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Allergy and the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Washington, Seattle. She enjoys teaching medical students, residents and fellows in the allergy and immunology fellowship program at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Christie is affiliated with Swedish Medical Center providing allergy care and coordinating patient care with primary care providers, and other specialties including but not limited to in the department of of otolaryngology, pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine and dermatology.
Pandora is proficient in Greek, French and German languages. She enjoys family time skiing, reading, gardening and cooking with her husband and teenage twin boys.
